About Me

Joe McConkey: I am the instructor for the Digital Art & Design program at Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC. Our program has four levels that is offered to 9th through 12th grade students. Level 1 is and entry level class that will introduce the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop. In Level 2 class begins to introduce students to working with clients and learning how to design for a specific purpose. Level 3 is a dual credit class with Winthrop University for 3 college credits and will work in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign along with working with clients and preparing for the next level. Level 4 is an internship class where students will spend a semester applying their skill at a design agency.
